Once the family or other representative asks that IKOR® follow a client on a routine basis, The IKOR® RN Patient Advocate maintains all medicals records, appointments, and a log of activities in the Datikor® system. An authorized provider, given access by the IKOR® RN, can view all the necessary pertainant medical information for the IKOR® Client, and make copies of what they need to enhance the accuracy of their care. The family or representative can also see in real time what IKOR® is doing for their loved one, and the real time cost for the service. Datikor® enables a family to be a family again and the client to maintain a sense of independence. No more is there a need to question if a Doctor's appointment has been kept and what the outcome may have been, you will know it as it happens, whenever you wish from wherever you are in the world. You the family will have a secure user name and password that gives you 24 hour a day, 7 day a week access to the vital information that has often caused you worry. Datikor® keeps your contact with your family member on a family note (how Johnny is doing in school or Susie next soccer game). And your questions, if there are any can be emailed directly to your assigned nurse through your Datikor® home page. And Lastly, no more guessing at what the service is costing. Of course you always have the opportunity to set your budget with IKOR®, but you will always know just what your bill is on any given day through Datikor®.
Telemedicine:
How can you be sure your loved ones blood pressure is being tracked or that they are taking their medications when and how they should , if they don't require someone in the home taking care of them? IKOR®. has the answer with our use of telemedicine equipment. The RN Advocate assigned to your loved one can monitor medications, blood pressure, oxygen levels, weight and blood sugar to name a few systems, remotely using blue tooth technology. These systems are monitored daily and automatically. If our trained RNs see a subtle change in condition they can notify the Doctor early, preventing in many cases un-necessary hospitalizations or crisis situations.
